George Nicholas is employed as a lawyer at MTR Legal Rechtsanwälte. His legal career is characterized by an international focus, strategic thinking, and a strong emphasis on commercial law issues. After studying law at the University of Hamburg, he completed his legal clerkship at the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court, with placements in public administration, with criminal defense lawyers, and in the legal department of a globally operating corporation.
Before joining MTR Legal, George Nicholas worked as a Legal Counsel at Archer Daniels Midland Co. and at an internationally operating Hamburg law firm in the fields of commercial law and shipping. Through these positions, he brings extensive experience in the legal handling of cross-border matters and in litigation. In addition, he worked for several years as a translator for legal texts and is therefore particularly skilled in English-language legal communication.
