Attorney Marc Klaas, MTR Rechtsanwälte, has once again been included in Handelsblatt’s ranking of ‘Germany’s Best Lawyers’ in the field of ‘Mergers and Acquisitions’.
Each year, Handelsblatt, in cooperation with the US publisher Best Lawyers, selects ‘Germany’s Best Lawyers’. In the 2022 awards, Attorney Marc Klaas, MTR Rechtsanwälte, has once again succeeded in being included in the ‘Best Lawyers’ ranking in the legal area of ‘Mergers and Acquisitions’ (M&A). For Attorney Klaas, this is not new territory. In the past two years, he has already been listed among Germany’s best lawyers in the ‘Mergers and Acquisitions’ area by Handelsblatt.
Attorney Klaas has now made it to the list of Germany’s best lawyers for the third consecutive time, but the award has not become a routine for him. Rather, it serves as both an incentive and a challenge to maintain and further enhance the high standard of client service. This is only ever possible as a team, and Attorney Klaas sees the inclusion in the ranking not just as a personal achievement, but as an accolade for the entire team at the business law firm MTR Rechtsanwälte. This is even more the case as it was possible to establish and improve the high level of legal advice under the challenging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Being included in the list of Germany’s best lawyers is special also because it reflects the high appreciation from attorneys of other firms. To compile the ranking, Best Lawyers conducts an annual survey among law firms. Attorneys provide their assessment of the quality of work of their colleagues from other firms. This high appreciation, among other things, is expressed in the statement of which attorney they would recommend if they themselves are unavailable for a client.
The recommendation, of course, represents a great vote of confidence, and Attorney Klaas and his team will continue to do everything possible to justify this trust and meet high expectations.
