Yesim Satar-Koznan works as a lawyer at MTR Legal. She completed her law studies at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster with a focus on International Law, European Law, and International Private Law. During her studies, she participated in the renowned Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court and was awarded the Best Memorial Runner-Up Award.
During her legal clerkship at the District Court of Dortmund, she gained extensive practical experience in business law – including at the law firm Dr. Nockelmann & Partner in Dortmund and in the legal department of the Canadian company Holt Renfrew & Co. Limited in Toronto. Her training was complemented by further education in German and international arbitration at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Yesim Satar-Koznan focuses on national and international business law at MTR Legal. Her areas of expertise include cross-border contractual relationships, commercial disputes, as well as contract drafting and review. Another focus of her work is corporate law – particularly the legal support of company formations, including the design of partnership agreements and structures.
