Vita

Ingrid Kutzner Arteaga is a lawyer at MTR Legal Rechtsanwälte and combines legal precision with international experience, strategic thinking and strong communication skills. Already during her law studies at the University of Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn), with a focus on criminal sciences, she laid the foundation for her analytical and solution-oriented way of working.

During her legal clerkship, she gained valuable experience at various national and international institutions. These include the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Barcelona, a criminal defence firm specialised in demanding proceedings, as well as the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in Cologne. Through these varied placements, she developed a deep understanding of complex matters, cross-border issues and strategic case management.

Alongside her legal work, Ingrid Kutzner Arteaga has been active for many years in various legal organisations and law clinics. As co-author of an academic paper on artificial intelligence and the judiciary, and through her involvement with the German Association of Women Lawyers (Deutscher Juristinnenbund), she underlines her interest in forward-looking legal developments. Her work is characterised by high resilience, personal responsibility, teamwork skills and the ability to convey even complex matters clearly and purposefully. At MTR Legal, she brings these strengths to the comprehensive advisory of national and international clients.

Focus

Ingrid Kutzner Arteaga advises in particular on complex business-law and white-collar-crime-related matters, as well as proceedings with a national and international dimension. Through her experience at the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, in criminal defence and in a diplomatic environment, she has particular expertise in handling demanding investigative and court proceedings as well as cross-border issues. She supports clients in the legal analysis and assessment of complex matters, develops strategic courses of action and assists with communication with authorities, courts and other parties involved in proceedings. Her advisory work is characterised by analytical precision, strategic thinking and the ability to present even complex legal and economic contexts in an understandable, solution-oriented way.
